No matter how mature Kadaj might think he is, the fact remains that he’s very childish and still a developing adolescent. He frequently swings from mood to mood, going from reserved and quiet, to blunt and loud, or angry and rash. From time to time he tends to be a bit overdramatic and exaggerate things such as emotions and responses, proving further that he’s just a foolish teenager.

But as young as he may be he has a nasty temper when provoked. He’s very quick to anger and can get quite reckless about things. He doesn’t like being undermined or threatened; Kadaj is a very prideful and egotistical bastard and doesn’t take well to intimidation or failure.

Since he’s lived with the R’s and Jax for over a year already, he’s developed manners courtesy by Riku. The fellow silver headed male’s mannerism’s have rubbed off on Kadaj, seeing as he looks up to the guy quite a lot.

Deep down his tough guy act is actually a very attention starved child, who wants nothing but a reunion—a family to call his own and a place to call home with people who care about him. When given even the slightest praise from whomever in his adopted family, Kadaj’s mood will automatically change into one of fondness and candid emotions.

Though he might not express it or voice it, Kadaj is genuinely grateful to the R’s—especially Riku—for letting him live with them all this time and providing a roof over his head and food on the table every night.

When Kadaj first arrive in Neisenma, he was dazed and vexed; confused by the sense of unfamiliarity. In a split second he had been ripped from his home world and thrown into the streets of this one—streets that looked all too familiar. But there was a cost that came from coming to this foreign world, and it was the loss of his memories of his former life. They had all been wiped clean before he arrived—the only thing he was sure of about himself his age, name, and gender.

Irritated by this fact, Kadaj had wandered the slums of the very Midgar he had been taken from—a Midgar that was the same, yet different. Nonetheless, he didn’t remember so he wouldn’t be able to make any comparisons.

The teen spent his days and weeks being nothing but a lowly pickpocket thief, stealing from people to just make it by each day. He had but the clothes on his back and sword to his name. Still, by the skin of his teeth, he managed to survive the few harsh weeks like a drunk; perplexed by the displacement and moving on pure survival instinct.
